Campaigners were seeking the permanent closure of the World Famous Babes brothel, located in a residential area in close proximity to community buildings used by local children. The campaign enlisted the help of a group of volunteers known as The A-Team. The A-Team placed the World Famous Babes premises under surveillance and recorded persons and vehicles entering and exiting the brothel and its car park.
Vehicles associated with the brothel were tracked. The A-Team worked in conjunction with political activist Richard Carvath. In the spring of the campaign against the Babes premises in Swinton achieved its original objective.
Babes in Swinton is dead. The original campaign against Babes was set up in January and run by Richard Carvath. Richard is a committed anti-prostitution activist and he remains a friend of Brothelbane, however please note that Richard Carvath is not responsible for the content of this blog. The campaign team has heavy involvement from evangelical Christians but we are a mix of Christians and non-Christians β our common cause is the fight against prostitution and trafficking in Greater Manchester.
