Computer Systems and Networking focuses on the software skills needed to manage a network. Students will learn and practice the skills necessary to perform in the role of a network administrator. During the two years you will become acquainted with computer systems and networking through classroom, laboratory activities, computer assisted training with hands-on experiences.
Find yourself exploring computer systems, computer networking, devices such as routers and switches, installing, maintenance, and troubleshooting network equipment, installing hardware components, and locating and eliminating hardware conflicts. Learn procedures to troubleshoot repair and upgrade computers. During your training, expect to perform such tasks as installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting networks, and replacing computer and network components.
