The hike up is well maintained and the waterfalls are beautiful. The second half of the descent is closed due to a recent landslide. Which is a shame because the other side of the river offers a great escape from the crowds. Very nice path along the waterfall. Very busy hike in summer. We were unable to make the return trip as indicated because the path was blocked. Very beautiful trip!
But a lot of tourists on the west side of the waterfall. On the east side we almost had the paths to ourselves, but unfortunately a large part of the route on the east side was closed. The waterfalls are beautiful to see. That is of course why it is so busy there. For the way back we wanted to walk the alternative route along the other side of the waterfall.
But because I didn't really know what to expect when descending along those enormous abysses, I turned around and walked back the same way. Also nice! Waterfall is strong and beautiful. You can see rainbows close to it. The hike was moderate. Very nice view. A bit crowded but has benches here and there to sit. Good views. One big waterfall and plenty of small.
Crowded even during the rain. They have several cafes and bathrooms as well. One part of the trail is closed, so we had to came back for path we already did.
Juli 14th After 30 minutes on the way back there is a sign saying that the road is to dangerous. You can't go further because of the fence.
