Two short months later Erik moved to Texas for grad school where he stayed for 2. These two spent a lot of time on FaceTime dates and of course traveling to see each other in various locations their favorite thing to do. Three and half years after they started dating, Erik gathered their families in Eau Claire so they could walk through the lights at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls. It was there under the gazebo that Erik asked Kirstie to spend the rest of her life with him.
