Safety Escorts are provided by Safety Officers and are available to and from campus locations 24 hours a day, all year round. Since the Safety Officers have a number of other tasks they do around campus you will be provided with an estimated time of arrival ETA when you place your request.
Mobility vehicle escorts are available for students that may have trouble navigating campus due to a mobility impairment. Mobility escorts will need to be requested each time they are needed, they cannot be scheduled. Students requesting this accommodation can do so through the Office of Accessibility and Accommodation.
The student must be able to load themselves with limited physical assistance and be able to secure a seatbelt. CSAF does currently have a vehicle certified to transport persons in a wheelchair.
Please mention over the phone if this vehicle is needed. Access assistance is available for pre-approved persons into academic buildings and residence halls. Please refer to the Campus Access page for more details on getting approval. Vehicle Jump Starts: Campus Safety can provide a jump start to those community members who find themselves in need due to a dead vehicle battery in campus parking lots and on adjacent county roads.
