January 30th: Had a day cruise with guests yesterday to Kawau Island. Great food and wine. Just one sighting of Dolphins feeding on the way back. So good to have good boating weather for a change. January 16th: Had a great day on Olive on the 9th. Good run of the new tender. A few tweaks needed to optimise its performance. Fuel barge being organised for next week to top up main tanks.
December 19th: New Seafarer tender was installed on the upper deck of Olive today. Our tender gets a lot of work especially when Olive is offshore and this new tender will be much more comfortable, fast and secure. Old tender worked hard since Olive was launched and has traveled with her tens of thousands of nautical miles and worked for her in many oceans of the world.
Olive is having decks coated for summer and her hull has been polished. Beautiful night after dinner ashore. Slow trip wandering back to Gulf Harbour today.
Sea looks perfect but could be a bit cold yet for a swim. November 27th: Overnight at Waiheke Island on the 25th. Tender is on its last legs - but a new bespoke tender is being made atm and should be on board in the next few weeks.
Small jobs only to be done in the next few weeks. On the return to Gulf Harbour we had dolphins on the bow. Not as common here now as it once was. She will now be leaving NZ waters late June She will spend summer cruising the upper North Island of New Zealand. June 21st: Olive went out last week to recalibrate all the navigation and auto pilot systems.
