Kuwait was actually quite a bit more 'modern' than what I expected, although we pretty much stayed within Kuwait city. I can honestly say that it's been a huge change, but if I had known then what I now know, things might have been a little easier for me in the beginning.
Why do I do this so much, I do it because of the stares that I get from men. However the staring kinda freaks me out at times. Regardless we don't have any problems and no one says anything to us. Yet we do not kiss or hug. I've seen many couples around Kuwait holding hands and I can see that it's becoming more of a common thing. Make sure that your wardrobe consist of lots of tops that have sleeves!!!
In the states during the summer you'll find that I live in my tank tops, but not so here! During the day it might be fine to wear that sorta of thing, but at night you'll surely see how everyone dresses, especially the women, always fashionable.
