The portion of property sold consists of a Omaha Home for Boys will maintain ownership of the remaining acres of land at Cooper Memorial Farm that includes a barn, large picnic pavilion and pasture land. The Home will continue to serve vulnerable youth through its 4-H program and youth employment program at Cooper Memorial Farm. Omaha Home for Boys will also continue its collaboration with University of Nebraska Extension and Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture at Cooper Memorial Farm which brings urban agricultural education to the area.
After 33 years of serving those in need in our community, NOVA will finally have a permanent place to call home. We are grateful to the Omaha Home for Boys for affording us this opportunity and for the relationship that we have developed with them over the years.
