Kim is a dual board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. After medical school, she completed a medical internship at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama, and subsequently her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Kim continued her education by completing a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship where she received advanced training in the management of skin cancer with the Mohs micrographic surgery technique and reconstructive surgery.
During her medical training, Dr. Kim published several peer-reviewed journal articles, presented research at national conferences and coauthored a chapter in a dermatology textbook. Her clinical interests include surgical management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, cutaneous oncology, reconstructive surgery, and medical education.
Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Kim attended the University of Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
