Theatre Calgary was founded on July 1, and was Calgary's first professional theatre company. Our first Artistic Director was Christopher Newton. A new musical based on the best-selling novel that was made into the blockbuster film Beaches , Beaches the Musical follows two extraordinary friends through 30 years of camaraderie, laughter, sorrow and love. Vivacious, outlandish Cee Cee and beautiful, privileged Bertie meet as children and become fast friends.
With a touching vulnerability, Beaches the Musical exemplifies the triumph of the human spirit and the bonds of sisterhood. You can also catch her back at the famed hall this December, as she headlines with the New York Pops for Christmas. Jessica is an accomplished concert artist, having completed her first city solo concert tour last year.

A ballet student from the age of four, theatre has been an exciting next step in her artistic journey. When not on stage you can find her reading, dancing, studying all things dragons, building lego, and making cool crafts.
