After leaving Valle Verzasca we headed towards Bellinzona. We did check how to get to via ferrata but it turned out not to be the right place. After 2 hours, few hundred meters up and down on tiny little roads we decided to stop for a coffee and check once again. Surprisingly not! Bit of spice is always fun.
Mornera is the place where you want to end up and to do so you need to take a lift up from Monte Carasso. Walk till via ferrata is exceptionally beautiful.
Most of the time you walk through the forest, you can stop by a little lake and refill your water bottle and just enjoy the view from there. The starting point is the same for all. After the first part you can choose the difficulty level. For the first time there it was a perfect choice. Views are stunning and you seriously enjoy every step you make there.
Stopped for a picknick and continued direction home- Broc. Practical information: Starting point: Monte Carasso m , Mornera m. Target: Sasso Torrasco m. Time: we took a medium route and it took us less than 2,5 hours from Mornera to the summit. Normally ,5 hours depending on the route chosen should be calculated. Tip : Get your lift ticket early. We had to wait an hour for our turn.
