I thought that was funny. Guys were showing up trying to figure out if they were closed or not. Ended up that a few places did the same thing. I say good for them to take the time off and celebrate.
Yes, they and a few others closed either today or late last night for Chinese new years eve. Today is the first day of the lunar year, in which most spend it with family and food.
