Pictures Location. June 5, - reviewed by Traveling Texans. We stopped here for an overnight driving thru Texas. The layout is great and the site are level, but there is zero shade as the trees are young and short. There was no Wi-Fi available which is odd in this day and age, but we have a jet pack if needed. We planned on going swimming with our kids once the degree weather began to break so we went to dinner first. We got back around and learned the the pools closed at every night.
The next morning there were alive and dead June bugs everywhere. They were in the bathrooms, the showers, the washer and dryers we found June bugs as we folded our clothes. The bathrooms were not cleaned and were fairly dirty with dead bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. The place has a lot of potential, but the lack of attention to the details really took away from the overall appeal of the place.
I mean 3 pools, mini golf, farm animals, water parkβjust endless stuff for kids to do. We were just passing through on our way west and just stayed the night but you could easily spend more time here.
Our site was a pull thru and we did laundry in one of the multiple laundry facilities which was great. They even have golf carts you can rent since the resort is quite large. Would definitely stay here again! May 8, - reviewed by GMG. Great stopover or a nice place to stay for a few nights.
Large sites and pull-throughs. This was our second time coming and staying for a few nights, it is spendy, however it is easy to access, wide and long spots.
