Bach- menuet. The exhibition features a selection of fine and graphic artworks by renowned Armenian artists M. Saryan, P. Terlemezyan, H. Kojoyan, S. Arakelyan and others , portraying various scenes of Yerevan in the early 20th century as well as photographs of modern-day Yerevan symbolizing the progress of the city in retrospect to old Yerevan. Next, Mr. Marabyan and Mrs. Sargsyan greeted the guests with welcoming speeches.
After the private preview of the exhibition, all the guests were invited to the Special Events Auditorium, where the second part of the event, Encounters with Art took place. Marabyan once again greeted the guests and presented the program of the event. Thereafter, the evening was summarized with the performance of the famous and loved Armenian singer Forsh and his Re-Minor Ensemble, who presented several beloved songs about Yerevan.
The performance was very reviving. The audience enthusiastically applauded and sang along with Forsh. As a closure of the evening the guests were invited to the Escalator Gallery to a reception where they had excellent time conversing with each other, enjoying the beautiful view of Yerevan from the Three Divers Terrace.
The background outdoor music of various songs about Yerevan created a special warm atmosphere. The evening was a success and many patrons were in attendance, including famous representatives of Armenian cultural society, art critics, museum directors, artists, musicians as well as some representatives from the RoA Government and Ministries, representatives of Embassies based in Armenia, CCA members, Honorable citizens of Yerevan and many others.
