Joined: Mar 31, Messages: 1, Likes Received: 3, Yesterday however, we hopped on a lot of trains to travel to all kinds of destinations throughout the city. We also spent quite a lot of time in the area around the main station, which is represented in TSW.
This made me realize TWO things⦠1. The scenery is quite good! BUT 2. The timetable seriously needs some love! Regarding the first point: The overall vibe you get from the main station and the surrounding, smaller S-Bahn stations is seriously good. In some TSW routes, the scenery can feel quite bland and stale, but the textures and models are seriously nice here. Lots of textures from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof especially for the shops!
Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof seems to have a similar architecture, so it might be useful as well. Something I also wanted to raise⦠if you ever do a route in the Munich area again, like another S-Bahn line going though the Stammstrecke to Munich Ost for example, please include the Hauptbahnhof S-Bahn station.
There are also lots of S-Bahn trains like the S7 that branch off the in-game section after a few stations. Secondly, AI services. The opportunities are infinite here. Last but not least, a question: Why is this route unusually demanding for hardware? In light of the release of the Add-Ons manager, which should further improve performance especially on old gen consoles, could you perhaps take another look at the layers and find out wether enabling them on old gen is possible?
And it would be great if the Special Projects team could take a look at route performance - including wether it would be possible to enable the layers on old gen after the Add-On manager is released - and the look and accessibility of the main concourse at Munich Hauptbahnhof.
