With multiple floors jammed packed with agogos it takes a lot for a bar in the NEP to stand out. Of course a theme can only go so far unless a place goes all the way with it. So maid cafes have become a sort of genre of their own in Japan. But places like the aircraft themed DC bar in Bangkok never really made major waves.
Once the people are inside they can enjoy what is actually a pretty good agogo. Unfortunately the pandemic made it virtually impossible to do the Bangkok go go bar summary I had planned for But that is definitely the overall theme. Since they do the hitting with harmless yet noisy foam rods this more about bringing attention to the place than anything else. There is the typical stage with metal poles and most of the seats are oriented around that. Though there is also a stand up shower with glass walls in the back where women wash off in the nude.
There are just a few chairs that give good views of the shower. Yet those same chairs give almost no clear view of the stage. That is regrettable.
Still the presence of so many attractive women more than makes up for the shitty seating arrangement. Every Thai agogo more or less has a good amount of women working these days. So in between hitting people over the head with their foam paddles they are more than happy to sit down over lady drinks. There is also a barfine of course. Though the vibe in the place is more towards fun in the bar.
Gals do go out of the place with guys who are willing to shell out a couple thousand Baht. But they much prefer hitting one of the short time rooms right in Nana Plaza than doing an overnight somewhere else in the city.
