Kwon and Zara advance to the finals of the Sekai Taikai, with two more semifinal bouts remaining: Sam vs. Axel has a commanding lead on Robby when all hell breaks loose. Axel shoves Robby off the mat and into the Cobra Kai area. Kwon cheap shots Robby, which leads to Miguel running over to defend his friend. That leads to Axel, jealous that Miguel is dating Sam, shoving Miguel to the mat. Things are extremely tense but manageableโฆ until out of nowhere Sensei Ivanov blindsides the Sekai Taikai host Gunther, knocking him out with a punch.
During the melee, Kreese checks to ensure he has his eunjangdo knife the one he retrieved during Season 6, Episode 2 as he attempts to find and kill Terry Silver. The battle continues as Kwon eventually kicks Sam. This angers Axel, who attacks Kwon and gets the better of him during their scuffle.
