Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody had come up with an auto disengage for the half nuts or even the carriage clutch on their South Bends.
Tubalcain's video highlighting his Atlas lathe got me thinking about this. The Atlas has an arm that will ride into a stop to disengage the carriage feed, saving the chuck from possible crashes.
