The hotel wrongly charged us again on departure. We were served by Nawal. We have still not received the correct refund - as explained in our emails and even though we have sent evidence we are being ignored. We request a reply and some compensation please. The receptionist is also bright, and there is a space where you can interact with everyone, so you can talk with friends from various countries!
Also, depending on the day of the week, they seem to be doing events that local people can participate in. The price must be high, but the room is new, the facilities are also refurbished, the hall is still a few days to complete, the sanitary equipment, furniture, etc. This is a Youth Hostel, not a 'backpackers hostel', so while there are plenty of young people staying, there are also families, school trips and older adults.
Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a private 2 bunk room with shower no toilet. The rooms are very basic but include a wash basin, and have comfortable beds.
There was clothes storage and a table and chairs. It was much larger than hotels I've stayed in in Paris. There were two sockets in the room, which weren't very accessible, but with an EU plug and 3m cable they were fine to charge phones from. The doors were heavy as in most hotels and toilets were shared, meaning it could be loud with people moving about at night, however earplugs easily blocked the noise! Breakfast was included, which was a varied and fresh offering.
