Classes meet online or at our office in Quincy Center from September through June. Small group instruction and an individualized approach create a learning environment that is supportive and successful in assisting students to reach their goals. In addition to the skills learned in class, QCAP students also meet regularly with Educational and Career Advisers, who help students identify and work towards their education and employment goals.
This program is designed to help adult learners with an interest in the Information Technology IT field take their first steps into the industry. This foundational credential helps job seekers obtain entry-level employment in the IT field, and is a stepping stone towards obtaining more advanced technical certifications in the future.

Classes run September to June. Enrollment occurs on an open basis until classes are full. Mock interviews are offered quarterly by professionals in finance, technology, and human resources to help students practice their interview skills. College and career fairs are offered to QCAP students and the community in the fall and spring.
They assist Career Center staff with intake, assessments, and referrals to local adult education programs, while also connecting Adult Education students with employment and training opportunities available at the Career Center.
