For the comfort and safety of all visitors, Maggie Daley Park has put in place a youth escort policy for entrance to and presence in the Park after 6 p. Maggie Daley Park visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years of age during these hours.
An adult who is at least 21 years of age may escort up to four minor guests. Maggie Daley Park reserves the right to implement the youth escort policy on other days and at other times, on an as-needed basis, when justified by objective circumstances demonstrating a substantial likelihood of large gatherings of unsupervised youths. Youths under the age of 18 may enter the Park unaccompanied while the youth escort policy is in effect if they 1 are engaged in employment at Maggie Daley Park; or 2 are attending an official school, religious, or other recreational activity supervised by adults and sponsored by the Chicago Park District, the City of Chicago, a civic organization, or another similar entity that takes responsibility for the minor.
Ice Resurfacing takes place between sessions and prior to opening. No refunds unless ribbon is closed by Rink Management — no exceptions will be made. MDP Ice Ribbon is an outdoor skating venue that is subjected to the elements of the Chicago Winter and operates through various weather events.

Rental Skate Sizes: child size 8 through adult size 15, there are NO half sizes. Please Note: Session Capacity is limited. A select number of reservation types is available.
