With 15 years of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, a love of working with her hands, attentive and listening ears, a calm and grounded presence, and a deep appreciation and respect for people.
Originally from Connecticut, Jessica earned a BA in English from Oberlin College before striking out to the west coast to learn and practice massage. She's an avid learner who also teaches classes in ethics, boundaries, and the nervous system. Jessica is fascinated by polyvagal theory and how our nervous system responses of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn affect our communication and boundary making and loves bringing this information to students.
