WSET -- Over the past few weeks, travel and tourism have taken a hit as large gathering events are canceled and stay-at-home orders were executed. With so few people walking in and out of their doors, the hotel industry is another facet of life that has been greatly impacted during this time. Like many other hotels dealing with low occupancy rates, the Craddock Terry says tough decisions had to be made. As plans begin to slowly reopen the country, Aleman says she cannot wait to bring back her staff, and she is hopeful for an uptick in reservations.
She says they have had to implement changes in their guest accommodations. Despite the breakfast area closing, guests can still receive a pre-made breakfast bag in the morning.
