This seems to be the best-known Mexican romance comic. This issue includes two page stories. A poor boy, Michel, has somehow become a gentleman. There is a ton of text on each page, and the images are mostly illustrative.
Good God, what an awful comic. Shade leaves Valleyville for Gotham City, and she wanders around Gotham, speaking in poetry and causing weird occurrences. Khalid fails to save a plane from crashing, then he goes home and tries to sleep with his girlfriend. After that, Nabu appears to Khalid and tries to convince him to become Dr. This comic has excellent artwork, but Khalid is not a very original character, except for his Egyptian background. Harley and Zatanna team up to save some ghosts who have been enslaved by a demon.
This issue is mildly funny. To make things worse, Mirror is not narrated in chronological order. A silly story where Jabba has dealings with various other criminals, and eventually kills all of them.
In one case he does so by eating his victim whole. Barr, [A] Alan Davis. The Mad Hatter is released from prison, but promptly starts committing hat-related crimes again. This issue has beautiful artwork, but Mike Barr was just not a good writer. Detective should have been funny because of its villain, but Barr had a poor sense of humor.
Also, this issue guest-stars the pre-crisis Jason Todd, a very annoying character. When his entire squad is wiped out, Sgt. This is an interesting story with a somewhat similar premise to the British comic Death Squad, although the soldiers in that comic were German. Just ten years before this comic, Archie Goodwin had written one of the greatest American war comics, Blazing Combat. Buddy has an adventure with Vixen and some other strange people. Ellen Baker applies for a job with a comic book editor, Les Decker.
