This hotel, although very basic, suited our requirements, close to or in the centre of Bastia, close to the Bastia railway station to Ajaccio, our next destination. The bathroom and shower were spartan but satisfactory. The bed was comfy. Entrance to hotel not so grand but everything else is! What a wonderful stay! Spacious room, very comfortable bed.
Very clean. Location best in town! Very happy stay and hope to return. Value for money exceptional! I arrived early in the morning, my room not ready, but they immediately made one up for me and offered fresh coffee and a croissant whilst I relaxed and waited at reception.
I was in my room in no time. I was surprised to find it so comfortable with good bed, nicely tiled shower, a large balcony overlooking the street, desk and chair even a fridge. It is only a few steps to the shopping area, shipping port and railway station.
I can see from the room decoration that the hotel was an ibis hotel and that refers to the standard of the room. As it's now a best western hotel, the price is not anymore in ibis level. We stayed only 2 nights at this hotel which was surprisingly good. Everything was super clean, nice blankets, modern, comfort and quiet. There is nothing negative about this hotel except maybe the staff which was not quite helpful with what to do in bastia or suggestions.
