St John's and St Chrysostom's Church of England Primary aims to serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practise. We encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote Christian values through the experience we offer to all our parents, pupils and staff.
Two schools with one Christian vision to provide the very best educational experience to prepare our children to engage with their local communities and for secondary education. The two schools have excellent standards of behaviour, value faith and the development of the whole child. Reverend Lee Wood is our parish priest at St Chrysostom's are regularly visits school to lead our collective worship. Our two schools have been working collaboratively with another local Church of England School in Beswick Church of England School of the Resurrection for the last 18 months.
We have been enjoying monthly sports competitions, poetry slams and a range of other special collaborative projects. Sometimes our subject leaders work across the schools to share best practice with the delivery of our curriclum.
We work hard to plan regular parent events to ensure parents and carers are involved in the life of the school. Parents are invited to be an active part of the school and join us regularly for assemblies, sports events and parental workshop and coffee mornings.
